Aliya is a very strong early hybrid with good cold and drought tolerance. She is an excellent choice for short season areas.
Planting: Plant at 6.35 - 7cm deep. Plant as soon as conditions allow. Very good cold tolerance and emergence. Plant at normal populations for the area.
Early Season: Handles the early season dry weather well. It will stay healthy while waiting for rain. Will respond to additional Nitrogen sidedressing. Canopies quickly due to wider leaf and flatter style canopy.
Mid Season: Silks and pollinates well under stress. No need to apply fungicide. Will respond to late applied Nitrogen if the season supports more investment in the crop.
Late Season: Healthy late into the season. Dark green.
Harvest: Stands well. Dries down slow due to excellent plant health late into the fall. High quality grain with a strong yellow - orange color.
